Illuminazione... Chogyam Trungpa
Inoltre nella nostra mente si forma l’immagine we have of ourselves, our "ego" which affects our actions in the now and our ability to relate with all that surrounds us. supposed to find the edge of a sea beckons on a hot day, a little sweaty and in need of refreshment. Bodily sensations invite us to dive in and enjoy the cool sea water, the mind slows down because we remember the time where we slipped and nearly drowning the ego it would take swimmers and maybe we are unable to stay afloat, and so we do not recommend making a bad impression. Who will win between feelings, mind and ego? The image of ourselves, the image we want for ourselves, the domain of the past to project himself the image of the future are the true master of most of our actions in the now, in the present. yet we commit the vast majority of the time to imagine the future, ignoring or even disdaining the present.
This is instead the only indisputable reality, the only source of beauty, the only key to development and happiness.
Happiness, for example, is a state that can exist only in the now, while it becomes melancholy when fished in the past and chimera if you look in the future. Tolle says something very provocative but equally likely. He says that unhappiness is a drug for us to fantasize an unattainable happiness. Many of us escape to happiness, dribbling, almost avoid unhappiness because only you can justify an ego, a being ourselves, a behavior that we do not like. Proclaiming unhappy allow us to be slaves of an ego to be unhappy, that leads us away from positions and attitudes that dictate our innermost being. Living
happiness instead of a precise part of this agreement, not by escape from become party to this total. It would be a pedantic exercise to go on to list how many religions and beliefs, as many spiritual paths preach exactly that: to live the present and look God in the present. Yet it is the ubiquitous search for God, serenity and meaning in life and thought in a conquest to be done in the future, closing the present and perhaps taking refuge in his own mind, so sensitive to the past.
Living the present, and accept it as it is, it means giving priority to the senses, the voice of our body, the true essence of ourselves. If you only occasionally tried to ask a simple question: "how I feel right now, what my senses say" without interpreting the response, without waiting for the mind to draw up a report that takes into account past, ambitions and ego, if only you felt you could begin to realize that our happiness may already be in the now, without waiting for the future, without fear of falling into the illusion. I just read a book on leadership which debuts saying many managers, entrepreneurs or leaders talk about goals, plans are drawn up and carefully plan the future. But they leave out systematically to listen to my stomach. The belly can be much more honest of the mind and ego. Obviously it is very often a metaphor for our mind is able to dominate even the belly. But is the mind that is limited, not body signals. E 'fear, pure product of mind, which can be traced back to watch this and not be oracle of the future.
